Once people learned to depict the reality and make the exact pictures of the physical objects with the help of photography, their imagination and creative thinking immediately formed a new goal to urge for: to manipulate the captured reality, to modify and alter photographic images, adding visual effects, changing color gammas, or combining seemingly immiscible things. That is how the particular stream in the art of photography, called photo manipulation, appeared. From the timid experiments of enthusiasts it evolved into a rapidly growing trend, which now serves both art and commercial purposes.
